Sony execs climb corporate ladder
US and European CEOs Kazuo Hirai and David Reeves named as executive vice presidents for Sony Computer Entertainment.
Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. revealed this week that Sony Computer Entertainment America president and CEO Kazuo Hirai and his counterpart at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, president and CEO David Reeves, have been made executive vice presidents of Sony Computer Entertainment's corporate executive group.
The company stated on its Web site that "both Kazuo Hirai and David Reeves will be deeply involved in corporate strategy for the SCE Group from now on, in addition to handling business in North America and Europe."
Hirai and Reeves have both been with Sony Computer Entertainment since 1995. Reeves became SCEE's president and CEO in 2004, while Hirai has served SCEA in that capacity since 2003.
