Gamers to go hands-on with Pro Evo Soccer 6

Publisher to feature playable Xbox 360 edition of flagship football franchise at German games convention.

Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (known as Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 internationally) will be playable on the Xbox 360 for the first time at this year's Leipzig Games Convention. The show, which is taking place August 23-27, will offer the first chance for the general public to play the game ahead of its Q3 2006 release. It will be presented at the show by the game's lead designer, Shingo "Seabass" Takatsuka, who has overseen development for the PlayStation 2, PSP, PC, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS versions of the game. Konami is also promising highlights from its next-generation console portfolio for the show.

    can someone tell me please why change pro evo 6 for the 360 no one really cares about the graphics pro evo 5 seemed good enought for me --can we still save goal replays as i loved doing that scoring from 30 yards out

    if pro evo just updated the graphics and maybe got some licencing from teams and stuff i would be happy. the gameplay is allready perfect. dont change a thing.

    if it aint broke, don't fix it......if its perfect, dont even think about touching it lol

    the comments i read about pro evo 3 being better than 4 and 5 is complete rubbish. that is probably the view of someone who is not as good at the later versions which have advanced in animation and the amount of skills a player can master. Again Pro Evo 2007 will step things up another gear and remain years ahead of games like fifa. Fifa is the game for casual players who accept the way that game plays, but only those who see past fifas licences and poor gameplay...unrealistic ball movement control, and slow player movement will reach to the best sports game series ever. FULL STOP. The other group of people who don't like and don't get the game or why people like me like the game so much are those who don't understand the rules of football. Its as simple as that. I can't say madden is a bad game because i don't know the rules of the game or get to see it, from what i hear it is very good. You can get somepeople that say a game is bad because they don't know enough about it and that is the problem with these people who say this game is no good.

    personally i dont know why you are all moaning about this game this might be the best football game to ever be released..but i think fifa can give a good challenge with there next game

    Pro evo 4 and 5 were crap, they should just release pro evo 3 with online capabilities, 3 is by far the best footy game ever created.

    Everytime i play 4 and 5 i dont feel like im in control, world class players dont randomly trip over the ball, zinedine zidane doesnt screw up 5 yard passes when under no pressure, whats the point in playing a game where everything is random.

    In pro evo 3 every now and again a player would screw up a pass but it was rare, in 4 and 5 theres more screw ups then there is successfull passes WTF, and in pro evo 3 the best way to score was to break down a defence NOT PRESS THE THROUGH BALL BUTTON IN YOUR OWN HALF.

    I cant beleive the ratings that 4 and 5 got as well 10/10 my arse, did these people play pro evo 3, WHY CANT WE USE MASTER LEAGUE TEAMS ONLINE ? WHY CANT WE PLAY LEAGUES ONLINE ? surely these features cant be that difficult to add.

    I hope they sort 6 out i really do, but i cant see it, ill probably do what i did with 5 and take it back to the shop the next day demanding my money back.

    I hope they fix all the crap:

    Terrible runs by the forwards (some run away from a 2 v 1 with the goalie)
    Only able to have one side back overlap (what's up with having the CB overlap as default?)
    That stupid hop over the ball on the sidelines when passed to.
    Not being able to pass the ball backwards on a free kick
    Stats being relative: a 98 dribble speed should not be caugh by a guy with 85 top speed and 88 acceleration.
