I feel stupid for asking but is this game coming to north america?

The original Ridge Racers was an awesome launch game, and even though RR2 looks almost identical, it will probably still pack quite a few thrills. I haven't played any of the older RR titles, so the tracks should be all new to me. Here's hoping for some more barefoot Reiko Nagase fanservice too! ^_^

if anyone has the original "Ridge Racer Soundtrack of Ridge Laser LD" it has the announcer saying "RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGE RACEEEEEEEEEEEEEER TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" so it kinda fits i guess

I will buy RR 2 if it has online play like Outrun on psp. And I also completed all the tour modes on RR 1.

I have finished ALL MAX TOURS on Ridge Racer and that's still not enough for me, so I'm gonna get this second installment for sure! Hopefully more "weird" cars, BGM and... more Reiko Nagase! RIIIIIIDGE RAAAACCERRRRRR!

Save your buks for PSP Gran Turismo.. If it ever comes out.

I still think R4 on the PSX is the best !! I just loved the storyline and the tracks. I hope they add more this time round on the PSP. And maybe a little more Reiko Nagase please? (^^) hehehe!!!

As I said on the boards, THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME. I would love the opportunity to race around some more RR4 tracks, and I hope more cars from that make it in. I will love Namco forever now, especially if they bring back the original Pac-Man car.

i enjoyed R4 on the original PS,never turned to look on the first RR that came on the PSP.nonetheless impressed by what has been shown on RR set to release on the PS3.Wonder how the RR2 on the PSP will be like..hmm.Guess i better stick to my Juiced Eliminator and Too Fast too Furious...hahaahaaa

I think the only console a RIdge Racer games isnt on is the N-gage and the DS Namcos poping these out like Dynasty warrior games and all of them suck.

More seriously, I'm not entirely sure what the big deal is over RR *or* NFS, really...if you want a good racing game, I'd point to Gran Turismo. ;-)

Ridge Racer is probably the best racing game ever, more better than some NFS game.

i had alot of fun with the first one, i hope they can duplicate that same experience with the next one. (honestly, how much could change?)
