Lara's date with PSP announced
Tomb Raider: Legend for Sony's handheld will be released later this month; exclusive PSP content includes multiplayer, skins, wallpaper.
Lara Croft's latest adventure has already raided consoles in both the US and UK, but her exploration of American handhelds begins later this month. Tomb Raider: Legend for the PlayStation Portable hits North America on June 21; the game was released in the UK on June 9.
The PSP version is a port of the PlayStation 2 version, with some features exclusive to Sony's handheld. Taking advantage of the PSP's Wi-Fi functions, this version will have three multiplayer modes that feature "multiplayer racing, fast-paced head-to-head treasure hunts, and extreme obstacle courses." Tomb raidin' PSPs will also get new skins for Ms. Croft, image galleries, wallpapers, and exclusive songs on the game's soundtrack.
Tomb Raider: Legend is also headed to Nintendo's DS and Game Boy Advance later this year. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's preview of the PSP version, or dig up the PlayStation 2 review.
