Activision Games Earn More Than 25 "Best of E3” Awards from Top Online Sites

Santa Monica, CA – June 6, 2006 – Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that id Software's Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars was named Best Online Multiplayer Game by the Game Critics Awards: Best of E3 2006 committee – an independent group of journalists from 37 leading North American media outlets that cover the videogame industry. Furthermore, as one of the most celebrated games of the show, Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars was a finalist for the overall Game of the Show award, and also earned "Best of E3" honors from 15 leading online sites, including GameSpot, GameSpy, IGN and NYTimes.com.
In addition, Activision's highly anticipated Call of Duty 3, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Tony Hawk's Project 8, and Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam were honored with over 10 additional "Best of E3" awards from such top online media outlets as 1UP, Games Radar and Game Chronicles.
