NHL 2K6 themes checking Xbox Live Marketplace
With the Stanley Cup conference finals under way, 2K Sports lets puckheads plaster their Xbox 360 desktops 31 different ways.
There are only four teams left in the Stanley Cup contention, but all 30 of the league's squads now have Xbox 360 themes available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Or maybe make that 29. Pictures of each theme on the official Xbox Web site show that the Minnesota Wild has been left out in the cold, with their logo apparently usurped by that of the Minnesota North Stars, a former NHL club that moved to Texas and became the Dallas Stars before the 1993-1994 season. There's also a generic NHL 2K6 theme that features the game's logo and cover boy, Dallas Stars goaltender Marty Turco. Each theme costs 150 Marketplace points, or $1.87.
