The Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff stays put on top, followed by Oblivion, Age of Empires III, and...more Sims!

During the week of April 16-22, the number-one finisher from the previous week stayed on top. In its second week of release, the Sims 2: Family Fun Stuff pack once again outsold its nearest competitor, the acclaimed role-playing game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. That put it three slots ahead of the Sims 2: Open for Business expansion pack (fourth) and four slots ahead of the original Sims 2 (fifth).

The rest of the chart also saw some familiar faces. World of Warcraft jumped three slots to take the bronze, while Star Wars: Empire at War also gained two slots to land in sixth. For its part, Age of Empires III fell four slots to land in eighth place.

But while there were plenty of returnees, the week of April 16-22 also saw an unusual number of fresh faces. The Final Fantasy XI: Treasures of Aht Urhgan expansion pack debuted in seventh place, two slots ahead of Tomb Raider: Legend's first-week showing. Stardock's Galactic Civilizations II: Dread Lords also proved popular, coming in 10th place despite famously eschewing any copyright protection on its game discs.

Dropping out of the top 10 US PC games were Microsoft's Zoo Tycoon 2, 2K Games' Civilization IV, and Electronic Arts' The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth II.
