D&D Online gets more dungeons, dragons
First content add-on for Turbine's MMORPG released today; free download includes 15 new dungeons to explore, red dragon to slay.
The first Dungeons & Dragons-based massively multiplayer online game just got more dungeons and dragons. Game developer Turbine today announced that the Dragon's Vault module is now available free of charge. To get the module, gamers need only log into their Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach accounts.
Dragon's Vault focuses on the quest of the same name, which features adventures in a gladiator-style arena, below the Jungles of Khybar, and in the Vault of Night where a red dragon awaits. Outside the Dragon's Vault quest, gamers will be able to fight a vampire boss, stop a grave robber, and team up with a bounty hunter to catch an assassin. Newbies can also gather experience on the recently opened Kobold Island.
The download also fixes some performance issues in the game, and tweaks keyboard shortcuts and the game's user interface. For a full list of additions and fixes, check out the official Web site. The Dragon's Vault module requires the full version of DDO.
Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach is rated T for Teen and retails for $49.99. For more information, read GameSpot's full review.
