BioWare/Pandemic earnings not anemic

New superstudio is touting the fact its products generated $800 million in revenue by selling 28 million games.

With clouds of analyst-generated doom and gloom hanging over the industry, some companies are feeling the need to remind the public that their games make a lot of money. Companies like BioWare/Pandemic, the superstudio that was recently formed by the venture capitalist-brokered union of the developers of Jade Empire and Destroy All Humans! Today, the developers announced that to date, games from their combined catalogs have sold more than 28 million copies, generating $800 million in revenue. Forthcoming projects from the Canadian-Californian combo include BioWare's Mass Effect for the Xbox 360, due in 2007, while Pandemic has no fewer than four secret games in the works.

Bioware produced, what is imo, the greatest PC game ever made. Baldur's Gate. I'm really looking forward to NWN 2 and Dragon Age (which is the "spiritual" successor to the BG series)

Im sorry but Jade Empire was complete garbage IMO. I found the demo awesome then when I played the full game it was just boring and not very fun. I would rather see another KOTOR.

An average of $28.57 per game isn't bad, but what how much is the net income?

Knights of the Old Republic 3, please. Seriously, if BioWare announced a new KotOR I'd be the happiest man walking the face of the Earth.

Most of my favorite games have not made much money, why would I care as long as the games are fun.
