FIFA Street 2 GOOOOOLLLLLLD
Gold! Gold! Gold! Gold! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLD!
Electronic Arts is all set to bring footie back to the blacktop, as today the company announced that FIFA Street 2 has gone gold for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, PSP, and Nintendo DS and will start shipping to retailers February 28.
The game returns to the flashy brand of four-on-four soccer EA introduced in last year's FIFA Street, with an emphasis on over-the-top moves and arcade action. New for the sequel are an expanded array of tricks, reworked gamebreakers, new signature moves for pro players, in-game juggling, and a new trick-stick system.
The third leg in EA's Street series (which also includes arcade-style takes on the NBA and NFL), FIFA Street 2 was developed by Vancouver, British Columbia-based EA Canada. In addition to developing the original FIFA Street, the studio also handles the NBA Street and FIFA Soccer franchises.
FIFA Street 2 is rated E for Everyone and will retail for $29.99, except for the PSP version, which will carry a $39.99 price tag, in line with EA's new pricing strategy for its current-gen titles.
