Hideo Kojima hosting podcasts

The creator of Metal Gear Solid is now producing his own online talk show, dropping MGS4 details.

TOKYO--Months after he started keeping a blog, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has begun his own podcast. Titled "Hidechan! Radio," it features various guests, most of which are Metal Gear Solid series developers. The podcast appears to now be the primary source of information about the ongoing development of Metal Gear Solid 4, as Kojima has neglected to update his blog in recent weeks. Gamers with an understanding of Japanese can download Kojima's broadcasts (in MP3 format) from his Japanese blog.

In his latest show, Kojima started a new segment called "Hidechan's Café." Its first guest is Akio Otsuka, the seasoned actor who voices Snake in the Japanese MGS games. Otsuka's conversation with Kojima will be available in installments over next few weeks, and has already revealed details about the development of MGS4. In his first talk with Otsuka, Kojima let slip that dialogue for MGS4 will be recorded throughout 2006, and the recording process will take as long as it did with previous entries in the series.

    the guy does hint at a english version in his last blog entry way back in december. i suspect a translation of the events will be along soon enough. I cant wait for MG4, see what they have in store for us next. I am certain that we will be in for a surprise, but if you read his blog i think he gives clues away.

    Oh good, now we get to not only read about his "lonliness", we get to hear about it as well. Hideo Kojima? More like Hideo Koj-emo....(Sorry, I'm feeling silly today)

    I think that the new over the camera in Subsistence will be a new standard. From what i have read here it rules. It makes me want to buy Snake eater all over again. I hope I am right and the over the shoulder camera is in MGS4.

    Raiden>Snake? LOL, that is laughable. Raiden=Crap. I hope he dies in a very messy fashion right in front of our faces in MGS4. That would RULE. Kojima will never do it though.

    I care about the revolution..

    Perhaps MGS4 will be good, but I'd rather see something new. I'm a big fan of Kojimas work, and I'll rather see something new too. And for anybody think that 'something is fishy'? I say, let Kojima do whatever he wants. Lets have a new character, lets all be suprised and have more fanboys and critics reject whatever crazy idea Kojima has.

    MGS4, proof that PS3 will kick some major next gen azz!! I can't wait to play around with MGS4 because of Kojima's new gameplay ideas. He is a genuis. Every stealth game out there from Splinter Cell and Syphon Filter owes their gameplay ideas all to Kojima. Heck, even the new Splinter Cell has "Close Quarters Combat". Snake Eater anyone? To bad I don't know Japanese, I would love to hear Kojima talk with his designers about gameplay and game design.

    there somthing fishy going on here i have a odd feeling about MGS4 why would he make all these blogs and radio show thingys now it just seems late mabye when we do play MGS4 it will reveal a surprise mabye simialr to MGS2 which instead we use raiden
