Full Auto demo crashing Xbox Live

Sega's car-smashing racer will be previewed on Xbox Live Marketplace January 25; preorders get limited edition 360 faceplate.

With the Xbox Live Marketplace's showcasing of game demos proving to be very popular among Xbox 360 owners, publishers are eager to get samplings of upcoming titles on Microsoft's online service. The latest scheduled to hit the download center is a demo of Sega's Full Auto. Representatives from Sega have confirmed to GameSpot that the demo will be available on January 25. The full retail version hits stores February 14.

Sega is offering another treat for Full Auto fans. Gamers who preorder the racer from select retailers will receive a free Full Auto-themed Xbox 360 faceplate. Though it isn't clear which outlets are considered "select retailers," both EBGames.com and GameStop.com are running Full Auto faceplate promotions on their product pages.

Full Auto pits weapon-equipped cars against each other, Road Warrior-style, in a myriad of fully destructible environments. The arcade-style racer also features an "unwreck" mechanic, allowing drivers to reverse a portion of time for a chance to take a corner better or get off a more accurate shot at an enemy car.

Full Auto is being developed by Pseudo Interactive, is rated T for Teen, and will retail for $59.99. For more information on the game, ride shotgun with GameSpot's recent preview.

I played the OXM demo of it, And loved it! the car handling is very arcadie and smooth, which I like! The Controls just work plain and simple, after one match your a master. I just hope when deeper in the game the AI will put up a fight!

I got a demo of BLACK today on ps2. Haven't played all of it but what i have played is not bad at all. But hope they fix the control, because it still needs a little work. BUT its a demo and not the full game. Im sure they will have it fixed before the game comes out. I want to play full auto real bad. Can't wait for Fight Night Round 3 on 360. LOOOOOKS good.

The title of this story is misleading, i think it should be changed. Unless, it attracts more readers since it sounds like bad news for the 360. I really want a 360, i have the magazine and a bunch of demos i cant play! Oh well.

The demo is actually quite lacking compared to the finished game UNLESS this is a new demo and not the one they already released to some magazine.

I hope its a demo that is more like the final game.

The demo thing is great. I'll just wait for that instead of getting the expensive xbox mag, I mean that's why I have the gamespot complete membership anyway, xbox mag wont tell me much more. It'll be nice to get more Arcade games this summer too.

I will not spend over $55 for a game(unless its one of those titles I have just been waiting forever to play). Does this mean I wont buy it? No, but I will at least wait til the price drops.

also played the demo on oxm disc. I had and still have high expectations of this game. the handling on the cars needs work. The short cuts, environment, and cars themselves aren't too shabby though. I won't preorder until i c good reviews a couple days b4 the release. Burnout on the 360 will be a better bet for a pre-order. Burnout has never and will never disapoint its fanbase.
