Did anyone actually read the Jan issue of PSM? Did the staff at Gamespot even read it?
Did the PSM staf even proof their copy?

In one article PSM claims that UT2007 is a launch title.

Yet, in the article with the developer, at the very end they stated UT2007 for the PS3 still has a year left in the development cycle.

IF UT2007 is a launch title, I guess the PS3 is launching for Holiday 2007.

...but PSM said it would launch in the spring, with UT 2007?

Man this is gettin crazy. I like the 360 for the next gen consoles but I have to stick up for the playstation people. U pc fanboys are gettin out of hand. The PC version will be better regardless if the PS3 supports mouse and keyboard. People need to realize by the time the PS3 drops PC graphics will already be ahead of it plus who wants to dish out 70$ for the PS3 version when it wont be as good as the PC version which will likely drop at 50$

Unreal Tournament, is made to be played on PC with Keyboard and Mouse, playing it with a gamepad sucks. Even if it's compatible with keyboards it will be only good to be played online, because the bot skills are calibrate for gamepads users, and the sony's online service must be improved a lot to be good

if it doesnt get released for the box 360, then epic must've gotten paid off by sony. The only reason it's launching for the ps3 is to attract the pc xbox demographic. The game would sell way better for the 360 and i seriously doubt that they chose to do this because of the ease of develping on a sony console. Sony just wants to show dev's that the 360 is not the only console that can ahndle the unreal 3 engine

I still like the PS3 but this game is not going to make me like it more, I'm still getting it for the PC. Why? Well... 1) The controller...... Not good for FPS! 2) Online.... (The Sony's internet service have never been good) 3) This is the most important reason, the MODS and User created Maps, that's something that the PS3 version will never have!

for xb360 they should stick with the championship series, its a lot better then just putting out a UT for console, if u cant get custom maps and mods and stuf, it wont be the full experience of a UT game

^^^ Killzone is a game which has alot of hype to live up to, thanks to E3 2005, but such hype can often backfire. I feel UT2007 is more likely to impress, whereas Killzone is more likely to disappoint (remember all the hype surrounding Killzone for the PS2?). We'll know soon I guess. Anyway, I expect we'll see more from these games, as well as Sony's PS3 launch details and games at CES next week. Should be a great show.

^^^ To be honest, I would be really surprised if the PS3 launched for over $400. I'm expecting $399 (without a HDD) when it's launched in the US in 2006, then add the cost of the optional HDD. I also doubt the games will cost more because of Blu-ray. IMO, Sony's comments about the PS3 being expensive is probably just a marketing ploy. That is, if the console costs more than $399, no-one will be surprised because Sony said it will be expensive, however if it costs $399 or less, gamers will be pleased that it costs less than they expected. I'm not sure of cost in other parts of the world, but I'm sure it will be competitive priced.

What's so special about Unreal? That game is old as PAC-MAN. It's JUST a first person shooter! And you know they will not have all the features that the PC version has... the PC version is more like a Battlefield with vehicles and etc. I bet this one will just be a fancy version of DOOM... wow lets all get excited.

Note to Sony: Launch UFC 4 with online play, give us a gift and launch SOCOM3 or 4 since you didnt give us a gift for Christmas. Launch GTA NYC, Launch MADDEN and LIVE with all the features that the 360 didn't give us... who cares about Unreal... that game gets released twice a year.

And my dear friend (Mkgodofwar), Gundam and Killzone has nothing to do with each other. Gundam wasn't shown running at 5fps sped up to 60fps, that was Killzone (although like Killzone, pre-rendered footage was shown at E3). Besides, early footage of any game running on early hardware for ANY new console, rarely is a demonstration of a console's power, since developers are still learning about the hardware (hence the choice sometimes to show pre-rendered footage instead). This applies to ALL consoles. However, I find it amusing how often gamers are quick to recognise this fact on their console of choice and yet conveniently ignore it for others. It's NO surprise that not all the SPEs will be exploited in first generation PS3 games, it's NO surprise that not all the CPU cores will be exploited in first generation X360 games. BOTH consoles have features in their GPUs which will take years to be fully utilised. It will take years before we see the real power of these consoles. This is not news Mkgodofwar, but thanks just the same. --- Oh and, try using the EDIT feature instead of multiple posts.
