Care Bears share some love on PCs
THQ shows its warmer side with Care Bears: Catch a Star; gamers can play with 10 of the popular icons.
Games these days have been described as ultraviolent, ultragraphic, or ultragory. One ultra- adjective that hasn't been used yet, is ultracaring. It's time to mark that off the list as ValuSoft, a division of THQ, today announced that Care Bears: Catch a Star is available for the PC and Mac. The game comes days before the Bears star in Care Bears Big Wish Movie, which will be released on DVD October 8.
In the game, those in need of a little TLC can play with several of the Care Bears in eight minigames. Need some lessons in spreading the love? Play ping-pong with Share Bear. Feeling a little down and out? Turn that frown upside down with Cheer Bear's Cheer Up Bubbles. So full of love it's nearly bursting out of your gut? Send some amorous messages with Love-A-Lot Bear's Wish Sender.
Care Bears: Catch a Star is rated E for Everyone and retails for $19.99.
