Shaman King sequel ships to stores
Konami's anime-based role-playing game now adventuring on the Game Boy Advance.
Konami today announced that Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2 is now available in stores for the Game Boy Advance. The game is the sequel to Shaman King: Master of Spirits, which was released last November and simultaneously shipped with its PlayStation 2 cousin, Shaman King: Power of Spirit.
Master of Spirits 2 is based on the children's anime Shaman King, and follows Yoh Asakura, a junior high school student who can communicate with spirits of the fallen. Yoh teams up with the ghost of a 600-year-old samurai warrior and is tasked with preventing the resurrection of the Guardian of Demons.
Gamers will navigate several stages filled with traps and enemies. To help him through his quest, Yoh can assimilate the spirits of those he defeats, upgrading them along the way to unlock new moves and combos.
Shaman King: Master of Spirits 2 is rated E for Everyone and retails for $29.99.
