Real Time Worlds, Microsoft ink dev deal
The deals pile up for former GTA designer David Jones as he signs on for flight of 360 titles.
Further extending the narrative of Real Time Worlds (RTW), the no-longer-boutique game development studio founded by former DMA Design founder and Grand Theft Auto designer David Jones saw ink dry on yet another impressive contract.
This time, Microsoft Game Studio has signed the Scottish studio on for an unspecified number of titles exclusively for its upcoming Xbox 360 console.
The news was timed with the opening day of the ELSPA Games Summit being held this week in London.
No titles were mentioned, nor was a release schedule referred to.
This deal caps a very active deal-making period for the development studio. It recently announced another publishing deal--one with Korea-based Webzen. The massively muliplayer online game developer and operator in Korea is publishing Jones' upcoming MMO driving game APB.
