2K Sports, a division of Take-Two Interactive, today announced that World Poker Tour 2K6 would debut at this year's E3. 2K acquired the license for the television show and poker tournaments last February. The game is scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Game Boy Advance, and PlayStation Portable.

In the game, hustlers will be able to show their poker face against WPT players in familiar settings featured in The World Poker Tour on The Travel Channel. A poker editor lets gamers customize their own rules and settings, and there's online support for poker leagues against other human competitors.

Don't fold 'em yet; GameSpot will have more coverage soon.
