Madden 2005 comes to Zodiac
The tweaked Palm OS version of EA's NFL franchise will be available for download at Tapwave's Web site.
Score one more for Zodiac owners. Tapwave and Mobile Digital Media today announced that Madden NFL 2005 will be available for the system in November. It will be available only via download at Tapwave's official Web site at a price of $29.99.
Originally developed by MDM, under license from Electronic Arts, for Palm OS handhelds, the Zodiac version of the game will be specially tweaked for the Tapwave Zodiac. Specifically, the game will fill the system's wide LCD screen with 480x320 widescreen "landscape" display, and it will feature analog control, stereo sound, and vibration effects.
Other features include all the NFL teams and player rosters, a variety of game modes, voice commentary by John Madden and Al Michaels, and a playbook with more than 200 plays--in general, everything you'd expect from a Madden title.
An update scheduled for release later in the year will include wireless head-to-head multiplayer via Bluetooth and a create-a-player mode.
