Midway today announced that it has signed Any Given Sunday actor Bill Bellamy to the cast of voices for its upcoming action game NARC. Bellamy joins Michael Madsen (Kill Bill Vol. 2, Driver 3), Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Blade II), and Michael Wincott (The Crow) in the game's cast. While not officially announced, Bellamy will probably voice DEA agent Marcus Hill, one of the game's playable characters.

Midway also revealed some details on the game's soundtrack, which will follow a hip-hop and R&B theme. Several lesser-known artists from the soundtrack of NBA Ballers will provide original tracks for NARC, including Jelly Joe, Kenny Knox, Point Game, and Bobby Creekwater of Jatis. Following the game's drug-addled theme, the other tracks announced so far are:

  • Curtis Mayfield - Pusherman
  • Curtis Mayfield - Freddie's Dead
  • Cypress Hill - Hits From the Bong
  • DMX - The Professional
  • Gil Scott Heron - The Bottle
  • Grandmaster Flash - White Lines (Don't Do It)
  • Happy Mondays - Step On
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd - That Smell
  • The Stranglers - Golden Brown
  • Toyes - Smoke Two Joints

NARC is rated "M" for Mature and is scheduled for release for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 in early 2005. For more on the game, see GameSpot's preview.
