Ubisoft releases Chessmaster 10th Edition
The latest game in the long-running series is now available for the PC.
The long-running series of PC chess games has delivered its 10th full edition to stores, Ubisoft announced today. Chessmaster 10th Edition has several new features, including an online ranking system, a create-a-tournament mode, and the Chessmaster Academy, which teaches basic moves and advanced strategy from some of the world's best players. The game once again includes the wide range of difficulty settings and animated chess sets for which the series is known. Chessmaster 10th Edition will retail for $39.99, but, in recognition of fans of the franchise, there will be a $10 mail-in rebate for owners of previous Chessmaster versions.
