Blizzard talks World of Warcraft Europe
Blizzard Entertainment announces that it's planning to build a European World of Warcraft team in France.
Blizzard Entertainment has today announced that it's planning to build a local World of Warcraft team in Europe. Based in France, the team will be responsible for community relations, customer service, and technical support for the game. The pan-European team will also assist in the game's development by managing text and voice localizations, assisting with the synchronization of development schedules, and communicating player feedback to the development team.
"The European gaming community is very important to us," said Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "With a dedicated World of Warcraft team in Europe, we can provide players with an extraordinary level of customer service and community support."
Blizzard also confirmed today that it plans to make World of Warcraft available in French and German and that a beta version of the game is scheduled for release in Europe shortly after the North American beta test.
