Microsoft and Yahoo Expand Games on Demand
Yahoo Games announces a deal with Microsoft Game Studios that will see 15 new titles added to the Yahoo Games on Demand service.
Yahoo Games has today announced a new relationship with Microsoft Game Studios that will see 15 new titles becoming available through the Yahoo Games on Demand service. Today's announcement takes the total of games available for users to rent and play to more than 100.
"Our relationship with Microsoft Game Studios marks another milestone in Yahoo's mission to deliver top-quality PC games to millions of online consumers," said Dan Hart, general manager of Yahoo Games. "This relationship gives Yahoo Games the ability to meet the growing demand for direct rental and streaming play via the Internet and lets consumers choose from more than 100 PC game titles through Yahoo Games on Demand."
Microsoft titles confirmed for Yahoo Games on Demand to date include Age of Mythology, Combat Flight Simulator 3, Dungeon Siege, Flight Simulator 2004, Freelancer, Rise of Nations, and Zoo Tycoon. We'll bring you information on the remaining games as soon as it becomes available.
