Marvelous Entertainment acquires Victor Interactive
The creator of the Harvest Moon series is being bought out by Marvelous Entertainment.
Marvelous Entertainment has announced that it is currently in the process of acquiring Victor Interactive Software, the game-development subsidiary of Victor Entertainment. Victor Interactive Software will be renamed Marvelous Interactive after Marvelous Entertainment acquires all its stock on March 31. Marvelous Interactive will continue to develop games, with a focus on networking and the North American market. Games currently in development will not be affected by the acquisition.
Victor Interactive Software was founded in 1996 by Victor Entertainment, and it is best known for its Harvest Moon series. Marvelous Entertainment is known as the publisher of a number of titles, including The King of Fighters EX: Neo Blood.
