3G PlayStation Vita now $250 online

The vita in my opinion has at least 2 A++ games (Virtues Last Reward, Persona 4 Golden); With those two games alone, to get platinum and full endings in both games, combined would take roughly 150 hours.  You also get access to tons of PSP and PS1 games that sync with your PlayStation 3.

I'm more satisfied with the Vita than the PSP, especially when it's pretty much impossible to "hack" at the moment. There is strict DRM on it, which you barely notice if you are a legitimate customer. The balance of DRM is convincing enough for developers to actually spend money and develop on it.

When final Fantasy comes out this year, expect another A++ game with at least 100 hours of gameplay.

I think people are not giving the Vita enough credit.

Speaking of which, if your credit score is over 650 you can easily get the vita on a 6 month no interest payment plan.

And to think, that I bought a 3G Vita for it's original price, and then sold it soon after. 

Unless they cut prices further still, they're not going to be getting too many sales.

Just heavily drop the prices of your Vita memory cards & I will pay $250 for a Wi-Fi-only model right now from your store!!!

Again, PSvita has been hacked therefore Sony needs to make MONEY from selling the hardware and LOWER the price of software, and Royalties. A way to do that is to have several Bundles instead of cheap console by itself. 

Several options should be allowed to deposit $150.00 and pay the rest $20.00 a month (NO interest added) or with credit card/ bank info $50.00 down and $20.00 a month. 

1.  PSV with Lead game, 8GB memory card 2 years of PSN+  $300.00 dollars 

2. PSV with 3 games 8GB memory card and 2 years PSN+ $300.00 dollars

3. PSV any 5 Digital download games 32GB memory card 3 years PSN+ .$450.00 ($250 or $150 deposit  $20.00 month)   

If the price comes down to 5 bucks, I'd consider getting one.  I do need a new doorstop after all.

Nobody wants the 3G model.  At my local Fry's Electronics, they still have, for sale, launch bundles of the 3G model.  They even put a sticker over the special deals part of the box because all the deals expired a year ago.

3G network is soo slow that's why i never got that ps vita model

I have the 3G model, but I don't use the 3G anymore. Instead I got unlimited tethering on my smartphone. I don't regret buying the 3G model, however, because It allowed me to get my Vita a week before the "official release." I was super hyped for the Vita. Still love it, but I have played all of the games worth playing.  

Majority of smartphone owners can use their device as a Wifi hotspot. 3G option is a convenience, but not that important. I save about $30/month if I use my phone as a hotspot compared to paying for a new device to use my shared data plan.

My phone has LTE and downloads speeds average about 30Mps, so not concerned about speed. LTE is anger reason not to worry about built-in 3G. Might get better results using mobile hotspot.

Theory: instead of eliminating the cellular models Sony will upgrade them with LTE chips. Problem with this is finding a universal LTE chip that will work majority of globe.

Meh, I'm still cool with paying one internet bill to play my Vita online.

I still think the deal with 3g vita ps+ and unit 13 for $300 is still a great deal hell in under a year ps+ would pretty much pay for the vita and a 32gig card

They need to bundle a 32gb memory card with the Wi Fi Vita for $250. 

Good so how about giving 20 free games to those who bought the original 3G for $300.

This is probably some kind of test before Sony officially announces the $100 price cut - they are waiting for the right time and date (and if they are running out, also waiting for more to be made and shipped). Plus, for the record GameSpot, Sony Style E-tailers almost always have near MSRP prices. I could find cheaper prices of the exact same product on other e-tailers than Sony Style. Sony Style benefits people who buy using points and/or use Sony Cards.

Nah, still not worth it. Good luck digging yourselves out of this particular hole, Sony.

Really regret buying the 3G model when it launched here in Australia. Not only did I not use its 3G capabilities after the first week, Vodafone was a terrible company to partner with.

If you're looking for a PS Vita, get the wi-fi model. If you haven't got wi-fi at home, invest in a router for $50 and you will not regret it.
