2K Sports NBA 2k8 Prepares for Playoff Push with New Roster Updates Now Available for Free Download

2008 March 12 - As NBA teams continue to jockey for playoff position in the Western and Eastern Conference, a busy trade deadline resulted in a flurry of blockbuster trades and transactions this past month. To reflect the commitment of providing fans with the most fun and authentic NBA experience available, updated team rosters for the top-rated basketball franchise, NBA 2K8, are now available to download for free through Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PLAYSTATIONNetwork.
Some of the notable players who swapped teams in recent weeks include Shaquille O'Neal to the Phoenix Suns, Pau Gasol to the Los Angeles Lakers, Jason Kidd to the Dallas Mavericks, Mike Bibby to the Atlanta Hawks, Ben Wallace to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Shawn Marion to the Miami Heat.
