First look: Dominus Online
Regulator Studios' upcoming online role-playing game will feature real-time combat in a persistent medieval fantasy world. Screens inside.
Regulator Studios will soon be accepting additional alpha testers for Dominus Online, its upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The game is set in the 28th century in a medieval fantasy world. Players will create and play as a character from one of eight different races, each with unique abilities, and they can explore the gameworld, learn new skills and disciplines, buy and run outposts, and fight monsters and other player characters. The developer intends to combine the fast-paced combat of first-person shooters with the persistent world and character development found in current online role-playing games.
We've posted some early screenshots from the game in the gallery above. Dominus Online is scheduled to begin beta testing near the end of the year. For more information or to apply to participate in the game's alpha test, visit the official Dominus Online Web site.
