Interplay announces Off-Road Redneck Racing
The latest Redneck game will combine off-road racing and down-home humor.
14 Degrees East, a division of Interplay Entertainment Corporation, has announced Off-Road Redneck Racing for the PC. Off-Road Redneck Racing is the latest addition to the Redneck Rampage series, and it's designed to be a blend of off-road racing and "good ol' Southern charm." The game offers a variety of racing options, vehicles, and racetracks, as well as different settings, a tough AI, and the ability to bump and crash into other racers for intense off-road action.
The game features a collection of 16 different types of off-road vehicles including Jeeps, pick-up trucks, off-road beetles, and more, and players will be able to race around 24 different tracks in six unique locales. Players will race in arcade challenges, attempt to beat the clock in time trials, or race professionally in championship mode. Players can also race head-to-head against up to six other players over a LAN connection. The game will also feature destructible track objects like oil drums, advertising banners, and the infamous "crate o' chickens," as well as challenging weather and road conditions, such as rain and thunderstorms.
