Berkeley's Latest Online Picture

Bezerk's newest online offering hopes that players know more than Jack as they play name that picture.

Berkeley Systems announced the fifth game for its Bezerk online gaming service. Get the Picture challenges gamers with a new type of fill-in-the-blank, this time with picture captions.

Players are given a funny picture, photo, or cartoon by an online host named Picasso (Pics for short). Each player must then come up with a caption within 45 seconds. And like some of its offerings, there are no wrong answers. At the end of the 45 seconds, other players vote on the one they like best. After seven rounds, the player with the most points wins. With thousands of drawing, players won't be seeing the same picture for some time, unless they become really addicted.

"Get the Picture is Acrophobia for the right-brained," added Steve Wylie, executive producer for Bezerk. "We're confident people will embrace the creative and social aspects of Get the Picture much as they did with our earlier game Acrophobia."

Bezerk's current online gaming lineup includes Cosmic Consensus (formally known as What's the Big Idea?), You Don't Know Jack the netshow, You Don't Know Jack Sports the netshow,, and Acrophobia.
