Acclaim Sports announced on Monday that it has signed gold-medal winner Travis Pastrana to star in new games. Pastrana, 16, recently took home gold medals at the Summer X-Games and Gravity games.

"Travis Pastrana is the most electrifying rookie to break into the supercross circuit in years," said Michael Jerchower, senior marketing manager at Acclaim Sports. "We jumped at the opportunity to sponsor Travis during this summer's freestyle events, and we're excited to expand our brand exposure in the supercross circuit by sponsoring the Acclaim Sports/Suzuki 125cc racing crew."

Acclaim also announced that it has signed on to be the title sponsor of Pastrana's 2000 racing team, which will be called the Acclaim Sports/Suzuki 125cc team during the supercross and motocross season.
