Endless Saga coming for PS3
Webzen goes next-gen with new MMORPG for Sony's upcoming console and PCs in 2007.
Yesterday, Korean game publisher Webzen gave the public its first look at its previously unannounced Endless Saga at the Annual PlayStation Meeting in Japan. Today, the company officially announced it to the world and said the game will be available for the PlayStation 3 and PC in 2007.
“Webzen is honored to be among the select group of third-party publishers invited to participate at this year's Annual PlayStation Meeting," said Nam Ju Kim, CEO of Webzen. "We're excited about being one of the first publishers to bring a new online game to the PS3. We look forward to working closely with Sony Computer Entertainment Japan throughout the development cycle to ensure this new fantasy game appeals to MMORPG and PS3 fans everywhere."
The publisher hasn't given any details on the game yet, but the trailer shows a lush, colorful world. A butterfly, leaving a trail of shiny glitter in its wake, takes flight and eventually lands on the hand of a blonde female dressed in armor. Webzen has promised more details in the future.
