New Chaos Theory multiplayer maps coming soon
One versus and two cooperative levels almost ready via Xbox Live; PC gets patched to version 1.03.
Ubisoft has announced that new multiplayer maps for the Xbox version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory will be ready for download "soon." Ubisoft originally said the first map would be available at the end of May, but as of yet, there's no sign of the new level on Xbox Live.
The three new maps will be released intermittently over Xbox Live, with one versus level, Squat, becoming available first, and two cooperative levels, Nuclear Plant and UN HQ, following shortly thereafter.
The publisher also released a new patch for the PC version today, which is now available on GameSpot DLX. The file updates the game to version 1.03, and it fixes several graphical issues and multiplayer bugs.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is rated M for Mature. The game was released in late March on the Xbox, PC, PlayStation 2, and GameCube. For more information on it, read GameSpot's full review.
