Paramount to release UMD movies
Lineup of PSP-compatible discs from the studio will include Sahara, Team America, Chappelle's Show.
It seems as though almost every week, another film studio is announcing that it will release movies on the PSP-friendly Universal Media Disc format. Earlier this month, both Fox and Universal joined Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Lions Gate, and others as studios that will support the format.
Now add Paramount Pictures to the list. The studio today announced 10 titles, both film and television collections, that will be released for Sony's portable this year. The first movies will be released August 9, with more arriving August 30 and "later this year."
In addition to the 10 titles listed below, Paramount plans to announce more in the coming months.
