20th Century Fox announces PSP movie support

I, Robot, Napoleon Dynamite among initial volley of five titles to hit stores July 5.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment today announced details on the first five films it will release in PSP-compatible Universal Media Disc (UMD) format. I, Robot, Napoleon Dynamite, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Super Troopers, and Predator will go on sale wherever UMDs are sold July 5 and will carry a suggested retail price of $26.98. In its announcement, Fox said it has chosen to support the UMD format because it gives consumers a new portable option for entertainment without sacrificing copyright protection. Future Fox titles will be released on UMD in the coming months.
