Ok, dude, chill. Yes, the 360 doesnt have Blu-Ray but I dont really care, second when Bungie quit Microsoft, Bungie lost rights to Halo, and third, I promise you Halo will NEVER come to the PS3 because the little sign on the top of the box art of Halo says "ONLY ON XBOX 360".

blah blah blah you allways say a ps3 is bad and dont have a signature game well you r all wrong because there is a signature game well they have lotes of games that r to long to wright down ill tel you an example like haze ,and a agree with urbackyard about gta it was a ps game. and i dont now about this but i dont see it in xbox(rainbow six vages and the a couple more Rainbow sixes that are on ps2. and ps3 has blueray and wifi and HD and FREE online play

i dont know why some people are saying playstation needs a signature game and calling it a scab..

because PS had GRAND THEFT AUTO, which i believe xbox scabbed off playstation.

it doesnt matter now because i like the xbox 360 better...im just pointing that out..

Just to clear it up if you can name one Playstation exclusive that is better than Halo, please tell us

Back to the point, Halo would not totally destroy the PS3 but it would cripple its sales greatly because seriously, 500 bucs for 360 and Halo3 or 650 for the PS3

releasing Halo 3 on the same day as the PS3 will be one of the best things bill gates has ever done. it would smash the ps3 to pieces. what would you rather do? spend a minimum of £450 on a sony console, or spend about £300-£320 for a 360 bundle with halo 3?

Simultaneous release of Halo 3 and Playstation would have been great to kill all the stupid hype about the $600 system with 20 games or whatever, but delaying what could very well be the best video game in the history of the industry could add to the hype. At least it ensures that they sell a few extra copies. Not to mention taking the time to get it right. If I wait on the edge of my seat for another year and it turns out to be another Halo 2 incident, I'm going to get very seditious.

well so much for simultaneous release with the PS3 coming out (I think) this month and Halo 3 not set to drop for another year .... Why is it that both Halo 2 and Halo 3 seem to have a never-ending supply of delays to deliver? I don't get that, you'd think they'd be able to predict when the game was gonna come out, maybe have a delay, 2 at the most and get the game out within a couple months of the original projected release date. But noooo, both Halo 2 and Halo 3 get pushed back over a year each (i could be wrong on that but thats what it seemed like anyway), idk i thought Halo 2's storyline was a disappointment in that the story goes along like you're reading a book and then just cuts off about 3/4 of the way through, no real conclusion like in the first Halo, where the ring was destroyed at least even if the fight against the Covenant still raged on. The multiplayer on Halo 2 kicked major ass though so it made up somewhat for the crappy single player campaign. I'm one of those 750,000 that basically bought Xbox Live for Halo 2. Anyway, I'm done criticizing the Halo franchise for now. (I still love the series and plan to buy the Halo 3 Legendary Edition when it comes out btw)

lol o no come on hear goes the xbox playstation thing ok i work in the games industry and one thing from my P.O.V is that first sony reales ther psx and it does a mint out comes ps2 does evan more xbox comes out does what both of them did put together in one fiscal year games wise playstation hase a lot more but les in the quality xbox les game more quality so with that in mined you gotta start looking at it like this with the xbox 360 more powerfull than the ps3 and cheeper by a hell of a way looks like playstation 3 shold be called "better hope and pray station"

Halo is the best coded game ive played ever. EVERY game has bugs and glitches but on a ratio halo has the least that interfer with ur overall enjoyment of the game. Just my opinion of course but halo is the ONLY game out im satisfied with, win or lose.

As for mgs . . . not sure why the love for this game exists. Ive played them all and the games ok but quite boring, storys ok i guess but a bit comic book . .i dont like that. Its like ps die hard fans cant have or play halo ( but secretly i expect they do cos we are gamers and halo is a great game. ur silly to say otherwise barring taste for genre) anyway i digress . . . . MGS is like the thing sony people have to stuff in xbox/halo fans face. i remember the line "Killzone : sonys answer to halo" yeah . . . . . its no halo thats for sure. i

i'll tell you one thing, bungie better work their arses off if bill wants this to actually happen. a rushed game will have more mistakes, so they better fix everything. if this happens though, it will be a fairly large catalyst to buy the xbox 360 over the ps3. but i'm not sure

Don't know if I should put my two cencts in but......
Halo 3 and Metal Gear are completely differnt type's of games. Its kinda hard to put them against each other, its more of what you like.

(Back on topic)
I really wanted them to take their time on Halo 3 and make sure it would not be a repeat of Halo 2. They should'nt just bring it out to compeat against PS3.
