Meteos, Geist, Kirby, and Yoshi coming in June
Nintendo dates two games for the DS, one for the 'Cube, and another for the GBA.
Nintendo today announced the release dates for four Nintendo-published games hitting store shelves this June. The games span all of Nintendo's current systems: the GameCube, DS, and Game Boy Advance.
Nintendo's dual-screened handheld will get two titles this June. Kirby: Canvas Curse will paint the DS June 13. In the 2D action game, players will use the stylus as a magic wand, guiding Kirby around and fending off enemies.
Meteos, the game from Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Q Entertainment, will puzzle the DS on June 27. The Tetris-like game challenges gamers to destroy blocks of a meteor.
Geist, developed by Duke Nukem: Time to Kill creators n-Space, will possess the GameCube June 27. The game is a first-person shooter starring a soldier, or at least his disembodied soul. As the spirit of the soldier, gamers will be able to enter the bodies of animate and inanimate objects in this gory shooter.
Yoshi Topsy Turvy spins his way onto the GBA on June 13. Little is known about this latest adventure featuring Mario's prehistoric friend, except that it is gyro-sensor-enabled.
Expect more information on the games, including their SRPs and ratings, as June nears.
