Napster breaking into games?

Chairman Gorog hints at future Napster movement in movies, games sectors.

Comments

Napster chairman Chris Gorog stopped by the Midem International Music Market, which is taking place now through January 27 in Cannes, France, to mention that Napster could move into the game and movie markets in the future. According to the Financial Times, Gorog said the online music distributor could use its model to begin sharing game and movie content for a fee. "We are currently considering moving into video, particularly to tap the younger video game generation," he added. Currently, Napster works by offering unlimited music downloads at about $10 a month, with no presence in the game space...yet.
