Bad Mojo creeps into stores
Got Game remakes the classic 1996 cockroach sim/small-scale adventure with current-generation technology and bonus features.
Got Game today announced that Bad Mojo (Redux) for the PC and Mac has scuttled into retail. The title is a remake of the cult-classic 1996 PC title Bad Mojo, which earned praise for its visuals and original story. Both versions of Bad Mojo were developed by San Francisco-based Pulse Entertainment.
The Kafka-esque story sees entomologist Roger Samms, a mad scientist and bug enthusiast, abruptly transformed into a cockroach. With their new six-legged bodies, gamers play the role of the roach as it scurries through a run-down San Francisco apartment complex, dodging daily obstacles such as insect traps and scalding chili. It's up to the roach to uncover the truth behind the metamorphosis.
Bad Mojo (Redux) has updated visuals and added bonus features, including a "making of" documentary, interviews, hints on completing each level, and never-before-seen footage.
