Two more PSP games pushed back in Japan

Need for Speed Underground Rivals and Mahjong Taikai won't be making it on time for the PSP's Japanese launch.

TOKYO—Sony Computer Entertainment has announced that two more PSP games scheduled for simultaneous release with the handheld’s Japanese launch on December 12 will be delayed.

Koei’s Mahjong Taikai will be hitting stores 10 days later on December 22, while Electronic Arts’ Need for Speed Underground Rivals won’t see the light of day until almost three months later on February 17.

Thus far, a total of three games will miss the PSP’s launch across the Pacific. Last week, SCE announced that Rengoku: The Tower of Purgatory will also be delayed to an unspecified later date.
