MechAssault 2 gets limited edition
Premiere pressing of Microsoft Game Studios' robot war sequel will feature exclusive maps, making-of video.
Microsoft Game Studios today announced that it will release a limited edition package for MechAssault 2--you know, that other online shooting game sequel it plans to release this winter. Officially titled the MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf Limited Edition, the package will contain: the robotic combat action title, a "making-of" video feature with developer interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, and two exclusive gameplay maps.
To sweeten the deal for fans on the fence, Microsoft has announced that both editions will ship for the same $49.99 SRP. Both the standard and limited editions of MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf will be available on December 28. The title is rated "T" for Teen. For more information, check out GameSpot's recent impressions.
