Atlus opens Shin Megami Tensei Web portal
New Web hub for the RPG series provides links to various official MegaTen Web sites, drops release date for Avatar Tuner 2.
TOKYO--Atlus has opened a Web portal for its popular role-playing game series Shin Megami Tensei. The portal collects all the links to the games' various official Web sites in one place and also features new content. Different sections of the site introduce a collection of Shin Megami Tensei merchandise, including strategy guidebooks, video DVDs, and trading cards. There are also columns written by the games' developers (in Japanese, of course).
The site also features an up-to-date release calendar for the series, which reveals that Digital Devil Saga: Avatar Tuner 2, the upcoming PlayStation 2 spinoff sequel, will be released on January 27 at the price of 7,329 yen ($69).
