No GT4 this year for EU
Highly anticipated racer won't make it to Europe for holidays; Sony cites localization difficulties.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe confirmed to the UK press today that Gran Turismo 4 will not be released this year in Europe. The realistic racing sim is now scheduled for the first quarter of 2005. SCEE blamed the delay on localization difficulties, because it is currently preparing 13 different language versions of the game for release across the EU. According to what Sony execs said at the Tokyo Game Show 2004 this past September, the game's online mode was removed so that the racer could make its scheduled 2004 release in Japan and the US.
