Armies of Exigo demo ready for battle
Available now on GameSpot DLX, trial version of EA's upcoming real-time strategy game lets players take the battle below ground.
Electronic Arts has released a single-player demo for its upcoming real-time strategy game, Armies of Exigo. The demo features one battle between the game's good guys, the Empire, and the Beast army. The EA offering is currently available for download on GameSpot DLX.
Armies of Exigo will feature three races: the aforementioned Empire, which is made up of humans and elves; the Beast army, which consists of traditional fantasy baddies like ogres and trolls; and the Fallen, which includes aliens and insectoids. The game's two levels of gameplay, which allow players to fight battles above and below ground simultaneously, make appearances in the demo.
Armies of Exigo is currently in development at Hungarian studio Black Hole and is scheduled to ship this October. For more on the game, see GameSpot's latest preview.
