Mortal Kombat: Deception SEs confirmed, site live
Premium Pack and Kollector's Edition to contain original arcade game and features-laden DVD, official Web site launched.
Midway announced that it will indeed be releasing several limited editions of Mortal Kombat: Deception. As previously listed on EBgames.com, the special editions will contain a console version of the original Mortal Kombat arcade game, a metal collector's card, and a DVD featuring both a history of the game and character videos.
Midway will ship two different special editions of the 3D fighter. Sub Zero will adorn the Premium Pack, which is available only for the PlayStation 2 version, while the Xbox's Kollector's Edition will have four different covers, featuring Baraka, Mileena, Raiden, and Scorpion.
To coincide with the announcement, the official Mortal Kombat: Deception Web site launched. The Web site includes all the requisite features, such as game information, screenshots, high-res character art, and several trailers.
Both special editions will retail for $59.95 when the game ships to stores on October 4. In the meantime, check out GameSpot's hands-on preview of Mortal Kobat: Deception for more information on the game.
