Codemasters to enhance and protect Soldiers
Codemasters' first downloadable upgrade for Soldiers: Heroes of World War II will add new multiplayer features as well as additional security.
Codemasters has today announced that it plans to support Soldiers: Heroes of World War II, which is scheduled for release in North America on June 29 and Europe on July 2, with the regular release of additional content via free downloadable upgrades. The first of these will add a new competitive multiplayer mode and third-party online matching software. Furthermore, according to today's announcement, the upgrade will also form part of Codemasters' ongoing antipiracy and gaming security program. The upgrade will purportedly only work with original copies of the game, helping to ensure that honest players don't have their sessions ruined by anyone using cheats or hacks.
