Driver 3 soundtrack announced
Atari and Epic Records plan to release a stand-alone Driver 3 soundtrack on the same day as the game. Track listing inside.
Atari, Epic Records, and Nimrod Productions have today announced that they'll release a stand-alone Driver 3 soundtrack alongside the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of the game on June 21. The soundtrack comprises a total of 14 tracks from established and up-and-coming artists alike. The full track listing is as follows:

Iggy And The Stooges - Gimme Danger
The Raveonettes - Bowels Of The Beast
SLO-MO - Boy from the City
Syntax - Destiny
Okuniev - Ripe For The Devil
Teddybears STHLM - Move Over
Narco - The 2nd Evolution/Stand Off
Narco - Evil Brother
Los Halos - Black Thread
Stateless - Exit
The BellRays - Zero PM
Hope Of The States - Static In The Cities
"With their ability to provide a complete entertainment experience, coupled with the scope of their enormous popularity, video games have quickly advanced to the vanguard of entertainment," said Wim Stocks, executive vice president for Atari. "Atari recognizes this vast potential, and we are thrilled to work with Epic Records and Nimrod Productions in creating an innovative soundtrack whose songs completely complement the gritty onscreen action of the Driver 3 video game."
"The Driver 3 soundtrack includes a compelling combination of new and established artists that forms a perfect complement to this fast-paced and exciting game," added Steve Barnett, executive vice president, general manager, Epic Records. "We see this as an important opportunity to build new audiences for our artists, and we look forward to working closely with Atari as we introduce this innovative soundtrack to the marketplace."
In addition, each soundtrack CD will contain n-CD technology, which grants users access to an exclusive Web site containing cheats for the game, a deleted scene, and competitions.
