Far Cry Mod SDK coming soon
Ubisoft updates its official Far Cry Web site with word that the Mod SDK for the game will be released as a free download next month.
Ubisoft has recently updated its official Far Cry Web site with word that the long-awaited Mod Software Development Kit (SDK) will be made available as a free download on or around June 14. The SDK will be comprised of many separate components that modders can use to create modified versions of the game.
The Web site update also mentions that the v1.2 patch for Far Cry, containing numerous bug fixes and improvements for the game, is scheduled for release between June 7 and June 14. Finally, Ubisoft announced that dedicated Far Cry servers for Windows and Linux will be released between June 15 and June 18, and they will be available in both 32- and 64-bit versions.
