Nearly five minutes long, the first gameplay movie features creator Peter Molyneux narrating a short film he made using the Hollywood simulation's filmmaking tools.

Titled "It Came From Uranus," the short showcases the finished product of the in-game moviemaking process. In this case, the end result is a schlocky horror B movie involving a young couple and a nasty alien.

The Movies is due for the PC this fall, with an Xbox release also planned for sometime in 2004. GameSpot shone a spotlight on the game in our latest preview.
