Spider-Man 2 announced for the N-Gage
Nokia and Activision plan to release an N-Gage version of Spider-Man 2, with both 2D and 3D levels, this summer.
Nokia and Activision have today announced the development of Spider-Man 2 for the N-Gage. Currently scheduled for release this summer, the game boasts 15 2D levels, as well four fully 3D levels in which players will battle a number of different enemies, including all-new boss characters, such as The Lizard and Doc Ock.
"The immersive 3D graphics and gameplay that Spider-Man 2 brings to the N-Gage will amaze and inspire gamers," said Pasi Pölönen, director of game publishing at Nokia. "Together with the new levels, characters, and plotline, fans of Spider-Man will find plenty of action to keep them coming back for more."
"Spider-Man 2 on the N-Gage delivers a gripping blend of 2D and 3D gameplay that immerses players in the world of the upcoming feature film," added Dave Anderson, senior director of business development and licensing for Activision. "The addition of wireless connectivity brings a unique experience that handheld gamers will truly enjoy anytime, anywhere."
Spider-Man 2 will allow players to compare their best performances with those of others via N-Gage Arena, and it will also be able to unlock additional content for the game. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
