Gradius V preorders bundled with bonus DVD in Japan
Konami adds incentive for consumers to purchase its side-scrolling shooter.
According to retailers, Konami will be giving away a bonus DVD with Gradius V preorders in Japan. Titled "Options," the bonus DVD will include a collection of high-skilled game play footages and developer interviews. Released for the PlayStation Gradius V combines the old-school side-scrolling gameplay with new-school 3D graphics. You can collect power-ups during the game and select from various upgrades like speed, missiles, and lasers to provide extra firepower. Gradius V is scheduled for release on July 29 at the retail price of 7,329 yen ($69) in Japan.
