GT4: Prologue Edition en route to Europe
SCEE is expected to announce the upcoming European release of Gran Turismo 4: Prologue Edition soon. A North American release is looking unlikely.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) is expected to formally announce that it will release Gran Turismo 4: Prologue Edition in Europe soon. The title, which is essentially a scaled-down version of Gran Turismo 4 with fewer cars, circuits, and features, was released in Japan in December last year.
According to a recent report on Kikizo.com, the European version of GT4: Prologue will feature an all-new documentary on the making of the game and will carry a budget price tag when it arrives in stores on May 14. An SCEE spokesperson was unwilling to confirm either the release date or bonus documentary at the time of writing, although we were told to expect an official announcement in the near future. A North American release of the game ahead of the Gran Turismo 4 launch this fall is, we're sorry to report, looking increasingly unlikely. We'll bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.
